- GRP rooflights should not be used in banks of more than 3 sheets wide.
- 3.6kg/m² GRP sheets provide significantly greater safety levels than the minimum requirements and suitable for projects that require regular roof access after construction. It can be expected to remain Class B non-fragile as a single skin rooflight for at least 25 years. (Often referred to as 'Step Safe' in the industry)
- 4.5kg/m² GRP sheets provide significantly greater safety levels than the minimum requirements and is unaffected by loads typical of inadvertent foot traffic or a falling person when fully fixed. It is ideal when there is a high risk of accidental foot traffic during subsequent roof construction when fully fixed. (Often referred to as 'Falling Man Safe' in the industry)
